Plant Britain
Distance Learning Hub by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Perth & Kinross SCIO
Planting gardens, trees, or other living green spaces is very good for our Earth so that is why it counts as part of your Volunteering section. We only have one Earth, so we need to protect it and ourselves. The BBC’s programme called ‘Countryfile‘ has started a campaign called ‘Plant Britain’.
Volunteer for 1 hour every week on the project of your choice or choose a different one each week. You can do this for 12 or 24 weeks depending on what Award you are completing.
