Outdoor Cooking
Distance Learning Hub by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Perth & Kinross SCIO
A 12-week course designed and provided by Perth and Kinross DofE Association SCIO suitable for the Bronze, Silver and Gold sectional certificate.
In the module you can try a variety of different recipes made for the outdoors on expeditions and expedition training. The recipes are fast to make, use only one pot preferably, are light to carry and not too expensive. But they are tasty and meet the energy needs of being on an expedition.
We are still collecting all our recipes and will continuously add them to this module.
If you have favourite outdoor recipes, please share them with us! So we can add them to this module too 🙂
Recipes include:
Vegan Munch Sandwich
Pot Luck Pasta
Vegan Power Balls
And many more!

TESTIMONIALS
What Our Students Say
“ Harry made a trail mix this evening. Harry chose a mix of nuts/dried fruit/choc chips. He mixer it together in a pot. Harry really likes the mix and discovered dried cranberries, which he really liked. He is going to make some for his expedition and put them in small sandwich bags to snack on. ”
