Distance Learning Hub by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Perth & Kinross SCIO

A 12-week course designed and provided by Perth and Kinross DofE Association SCIO suitable for the Bronze and Silver sectional certificate.

The course will provide a series of exercises and activities designed to promote knowledge of, and playing skills in, Ultimate frisbee, now accepted as an Olympic sport.

Activities include:

History and rules of the game

The backhand throw

The forehand throw

The hammer throw

And many more!

A competition standard frisbee will be provided free to those signed up with the Association – frisbee is yours to keep if you complete the 12 modules! How cool is that!

This module is suitable for Bronze (choosing 12 of the following weeks) and / or for Silver (adding 6 additional weeks by your choice). If you are new to Frisbee, we'd highly advise you to take the modules in a structured order, so you get the most from this module.
