Today it’s all about meditation and how meditation – or simply being aware – can help balance mental health.
ย
Listen to a snippet of the simple, 8-minute meditation technique โ€“ the body scan by Lunaticrafts. One way of practicing mindfulness is through a body scan meditation, which promotes greater awareness. The means is to ground us into the present moment by reconnecting with our physical body, without judgement.
ย
Research has shown that this “method of quieting the mind and noticing where there is tension or pain in your body as you breathe slowly and release each area as you are able”, can help with calming anxiety, stress and improve your mental well-being.
