Why?
“This year the UK wide Volunteers’ Week theme is ‘Celebrate and Inspire’.
With this theme we nationally aim to highlight that our diversity is our strength, show that there is more than one way to volunteer and encourage people to be the change that we want to see. Volunteers are always active at the heart of every UK community so taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate and recognise their efforts and all they contribute to our local communities; the voluntary sector as a whole has never been more important.”
Spring is returning to Megginch!
We had a lovely session at Megginch, cooking toasties and helping the volunteers in the garden. Students planted potatoes and helped prep the new veg beds. Volunteers were so kind and helpful, a really great way to spend the afternoon.
