April’s Expedition Training

During the weekend of 22nd – 24th April The Polish Scouts Group registered for DofE Awards within Perth & Kinross Assotiation – had their expedition section training.

Thanks to Helen Taylor and Trix Stephen – we were able to use the Dunkeld Guides Hall, which provided an excelent expedition base. Polish Guides and Scouts arrived at Dunkeld location on their own. Also unaccompanied they created “patrols of four” – to work out the aims and the routes of the Saturday walks.

King’s Seat was conquered, pinecone viewpoint was found as well as the warm food was cooked (on stoves provided by the P&K DofE Assotiation). There was footbal with local teenagers and some disco in the park till late evening as the weather was realy sent from the skies!

Up till the next time on the walking trail!
