Special days

Today is #NationalGiveSomethingAwayDay and we would like to encourage you celebrate generosity!
There is so many different ways to give. But one thing is sure for all of them – giving makes us happy. Remember birthdays or Christmas, when you had a present for a loved one and you were so excited to finally give it to them? Giving something often makes us happier than receiving something ourselves!

Research has also shown that giving can decrease stress associated with a variety of health problems. It also promotes social connection and evokes gratitude. These are all wonderful things to boost your own and other’s happiness!

We have a beautiful site at Megginch Castle where we are always looking for some extra hands with gardening, supporting Young People and many other activities. Read about the work of our amazing volunteer Gillian!

Help remotley

Our Distance Learning Hub is constantly growing. We have established a free wonderful online resource for people to learn new skills. If you like to help, we always look for proofreaders, translation into other languages, module writers and support with assessor reports.

Let’s make something amazing together
