“HIS Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex & Forfar recently joined the Perth & Kinross Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Association to celebrate its 30th Anniversary at a special event at Megginch Castle. The Earl met a group of young people participating in the Award together with parents, volunteers, sponsors and Trustees.
During the visit, His Royal Highness tried his hand at archery and generously planted two trees. The first as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy to celebrate Her Majesty’s Jubilee in 2022. The second tree celebrated the life of The Duke of Edinburgh and marked the Association’s 30th Anniversary.”
