Shinrin-Yoku is a mindfulness practice originated in Japan, but can be applied all over the world. The only thing you need is a forest or a small area of trees.

Countless scientific studies have agreed on the importance of nature and trees on our physical and mental well-being. So, surrounding yourself in a forest – forest bathing – has a tangible therapeutic effect on body and mind.

The practice is simple. Follow the 6 step guide to Forest Bathing by Erin Niimi Longhurst, the author of “Japonisme”.
